We are seeking an uncommon professional to join our team as an Application Administrator

Under the general direction of the business process owner, this position is responsible for overseeing appropriate access and maintenance of CUNA Mutual Group’s sales force automation tool, sales workspace, and other distribution applications. They will work closely with frontline sales and sales management teams to keep the application operating to ensure success of our sales goals, objectives and plans. The Application Administrator provides significant control of access to the SFA tools and other distribution applications. It is the Application Administrator’s job to manage all Access Rights, all Users, all Privileges, all Products, all Services and business support. Only the Administrator can add or remove levels of access to the application. This position is responsible for system testing to ensure quality administrative system/process functionality. This includes assisting with data requirements, the development, coordination, execution and analysis of test case studies, providing documentation, training and ongoing support for user procedures and system processes.

This position provides second level support coverage on rotation Monday-Friday 4:00-9:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm.

Job Responsibilities:

35% 1. Responsible for modifying and testing application configuration changes based on user feedback as well as organizational changes. Collect, track and evaluate feedback being received from the field and customers. Feedback should be consolidated and presented to management/decision-makers on a regular basis to determine how and if the application will be modified. The most common configuration changes include: adding custom-defined-fields, editing pick lists for existing fields, editing or creating new screen layouts, modifying Process(es), building and sharing new Reports and Dashboards, granting Users access to fields, screens and records and adding new Users. This position also cross trains with others in this role to support all applications.

30% 2. Drive the investigation and analysis of process or application changes. This includes identification of high level business needs and requirements. This analysis involves gathering input and high level requirements from various constituents, determining which requirements can be implemented right away and which ones to provide to a Operation Review committee. Present recommendations and resource estimates to a Review Committee and Team Leaders to prioritize when to incorporate Salesnet releases or major configuration changes and potentially (depending on the nature of the changes) re-training Users. Also responsible for conducting a Quarterly or Semi-Annual application review to ensure the configuration is aligned with the existing business environment.

20% 3. Provide day to day business systems support by analyzing application problems and identifying both short-term and long-term solutions. Maintain processes related to system maintenance and support, quality control administration, business metrics, reporting and other needs of the business. Responsible for defining, documenting and on-going cross training of the systems business and process rules for all applications.

10% 4. Assist in the development of training materials and delivery of business systems training and maintain business process documentation.

5% 5. The above statement of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties will be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experiences.

2) 5 years of work experience in business analysis, customer service or sales operations.

3) Demonstrated knowledge in business processes, systems, data analysis and reporting.

4) Demonstrated skills in analyzing situations and problem-solving abilities, determining options, strategies and sales organization skills for identifying, tracking, and facilitating issue resolution as shown by previous assignments.

5) Demonstrated strong interpersonal, collaboration, customer service and teambuilding skills.

6) Demonstrated effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills on technical information to internal and external customers.

7) Strong operational knowledge of the sales organization goals and objectives.

8) Ability to effectively use support software, such as Lotus Notes, Word, Access, Excel, Support Magic, PowerPoint.

9) Certified Salesforce Administrator certification within 12 months of assuming the position.

10) Availability to provide rotational coverage Monday-Friday 4:00-9:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm.
